Class Dojo

At Cicely the whole school utilises class dojo. https://teach.classdojo.com

Staff use this system to communicate directly with parents and carers either at whole school, class or individual level. This is the main way of sharing information to and from school. Here you will be able to access information about your child's week, planned activities, events and general news as well as use the system to share information and celebrate successes from home too. 

Within school we also use class dojo to help us record children's behaviour scores by awarding points for each lesson, break and activity. These weekly scores are often shared with parents and carers via class dojo. We then use these scores to inform our behaviour awards too by averaging out the child's behaviour score for the week and across the half term, term and academic year. 

These scores inform the presentation of Bronze, Silver, Gold or platinum certificates and linked prizes/activities trips based on the level achieved.   

The whole school expectation is for 90% for individuals. This allows for children to be children but also have an achievable aim and target.
